Mettalic Shoulder Pullover

It was an overcast beach day, so I grabbed my Triple Thread OC pullover and wore it over my bikini, styled along with Levis' slouchy cut off shorts. The sunglasses and flats were featured in this summer, backyard BBQ post here. The pullover is very comfy and soft, but also can be worn casually or dressed up because of the metallic details. Ballerina Skirt for Spring

I tapped into my ultra feminine side and ballerina days with this spring inspired outfit. Although the season officially turns into Spring this Friday, so cal has been experiencing unbelievably hot weather. To ease the frustration of the heat wave without walking around in a bikini to cool off, I styled this lightweight blouse with a colorful, a-line pleated skirt and pulled my hair up into a bun. I had a full day of events last Thursday wearing this outfit; a blogger lunch, store opening walk through, and two store events; so this look was perfect to take from day to night. Tartan Remix

While checking out the RARE by Goodwill store in Anaheim, I stumbled across this classic tartan printed pleated skirt (totally Clueless vibes, just need a matching jacket) that I had to have, so I tried it on and it fit perfectly so I brought it home with me. It had an oversized safety pin at the bottom of the skirt giving it an edgier, 'punk-rock' look, so I styled it with a crop top and faux leather jacket. To complete my homage to the 90s grunge era with my twist on it, I had Dee of Swell Beauty do this awesome faux hawk braid ponytail hair style on me (check out the tutorial here) as well as add a red lip, and I wore a cherry necklace from Katy Perry's Eat Your Heart Out collection at Claire's and my fave silver mesh sunnies from ZeroUV. Happy Weekend Lovelies! Andrew, my magazine partner and I ventured up to LA on Thursday to shop in Beverly Hills and over at Ciate London's unveiling of their color cosmetics collection, Lulu & Georgia's Pop Up Shop, and Claires Stores x Katy Perry's Eat Your Heart Out collection party at the W Hollywood Hotel!
